Whether during my sunny, South Bay childhood, or my young adulthood in Los Angeles, I have always been welcomed by a vibrant, warmhearted community.
With Asian roots and Hawaiian ties, we’ve always embraced the reality that our families extend beyond our front doors and that there is always room for an extra seat at the dinner table. This value of ‘ohana (thanks, Lilo and Stitch for introducing this concept to the world!) led us to call our neighbors Auntie and Uncle, welcome strangers like dear friends, and pick up a camera at every opportunity to preserve these beautiful moments in time. As I realized the impact these fleeting-moments-turned-heirlooms had on the ones I loved, I came to understand my passion for sharing my heartfelt aloha through the gift of photography.
Inspired by the fresh, clear ocean air of Hawaii and the stylish sophistication of LA, I balance candid moments with editorial beauty through a style that is romantic, natural, and calm. I fill galleries with genuine wedding day memories that are as timeless as the love you share and will hold you spellbound from the first page of your photo album to the last.
But when I’m not documenting “I do”s or grabbing lattes with new clients, you can probably spot me decompressing with some adult coloring pages, trying out some wild new recipe in my kitchen, or rewatching my favorite episodes of the office with my husband (and stellar videographer), Dale.
